Four Nova Scotian beaches will resume supervision this weekend

Halifax, N.S. – Due to the unseasonably warm weather forecasted this weekend, the Lifesaving Society – Nova Scotia Branch will be re-establishing lifeguard supervision on Rissers Beach in Lunenburg County as well as Rainbow Haven and Martinique Beaches in Halifax County from September 5 to 7. Supervision hours will be from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Lawrencetown Beach will be supervised the weekends of September 5-7 and 12-13.

The Lifesaving Society – Nova Scotia Branch seeks to ensure all Nova Scotians can safely enjoy the province’s beaches this Labour Day weekend.
