The Department of Natural Resources is closing all parks at dusk tonight, Friday, July 4 until Sunday, July 6.
On Wednesday June 25 at Aylesford Lake Beach in Kings County, athletes competed in the first round of the Lifesaving Sport Series.
The Dartmouth RamFish took home the banners from both the 2014 Nova Scotia Pool Lifesaving Championships and the 2014 Emergency Response Championships.

The Nova Scotia Lifeguard Service earned first place at this past weekend Canadian Surf Lifesaving Championship.
The 2013 Canadian Surf Lifesaving Championship is happening this weekend, August 23-25 at Martinique and Rainbow Haven Beach. Please find attached a news release regarding the competition.
